Honest furnace advice from a Four Seasons tech
Megan, a Wilsonville homeowner, noticed that her 17-year-old furnace was struggling to heat her home. Her energy bills had been steadily increasing and she knew her furnace was running longer to keep her house warm. Megan thought a tune-up might help her furnace last another winter or two, so she called Four Seasons and scheduled a maintenance visit.
We sent one of our trusted technicians, Tim, to Megan’s home. After hearing the problems Megan observed about her furnace, Tim started inspecting the system. He noticed several parts were close to wearing out completely, and he knew the furnace was nearing the end of its lifespan (most furnaces last 15 to 20 years, max). Tim told Megan that because of the age of the furnace, he recommended investing in a new system.
